The 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport is an SUV that's available in eight exterior colors, including Frost White Pearl, Serrano Red, and Twilight Black. Its three trim levels include the entry-level Sport, the more highly powered Sport 2.0T, and the top-of-the line Sport 2.0T Ultimate. The aerodynamic exterior includes a sporty spoiler and alloy wheels in 17-, 18-, and 19-inch sizes.

Performance
Power on the Sport trim comes from a 2.4-liter inline four-cylinder Double Overhead Cam engine with Dual-Continuous Variable Valve Timing, which delivers 190 horsepower at 6,300 RPM and 181 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,250 RPM. The standard six-speed automatic transmission contains SHIFTRONIC® and Active ECO System. With the standard front wheel drive, the EPA-estimated fuel efficiency reaches 27 MPG on the highway, 20 MPG in the city, and 23 MPG combined. The Sport 2.0T and Sport 2.0T Ultimate use an inline four-cylinder turbo that produces 265 horsepower at 6,000 RPM and 269 lb.-ft. of torque. EPA-estimated fuel economy is 27 MPG on the highway, 19 MPG in the city, and 22 MPG combined. Interior
The SUV seats five in two rows. The front seats are available with ventilation for comfort with the driver's side being adjustable in 12 ways. Heat is an available option for the rear seats, which also have integrated sunshades and can slide and recline. So you can carry any mix of passengers and cargo, the second row folds in a 40/20/20 split. For extra stain-resistance, all seats are covered with YES Essentials® cloth. You can upgrade to premium features that include leather seating surfaces, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, a steering wheel with heat, and a dual-zone automatic temperature control that freshens the environment with a CleanAir Ionizer. Storage is everywhere, including in the dashboard bin, hidden cargo-area compartment, and eight bottle and cupholders.
Features
High-tech features bump up the audio to an available 550-watt Infinity® Logic 7® Surround Sound Audio System with 12 speakers. Connect an iPod®, iPhone®, or other mobile devices through the USB auxiliary jack. You can also receive calls or stream music using Bluetooth®. There's no need to fumble with your keys when you have the available Proximity Key with you. Touch the car door handle to unlock itand then push a button to start the SUV. On the Sport 2.0T, the Blue Link® Telematics System is standard. Hook up with it through your in-car system, smartphone, or web application and you can find the shortest route, look for a gas station, or call for help.
Safety
The 2016 Kia Sportage doesn't skimp on safety. Backing up its NHTSA 5-star overall safety rating, each of the models comes standard with an array of features that give you peace of mind while driving. An advanced system of airbags lines the front and sides of the vehicle, while 3-point seat belts minimize the effects of an accident for front and back seat passengers.
